It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving. – Mother Teresa
I will reveal the mystery of being in happiness. The secret of being happy and living a peaceful life reside in a word “giving.”
Have you ever heard the story ‘The Address” written by Marga Minco, if you haven’t read it yet? I will write it here briefly.
This story is all around a poignant account of a daughter who had gone for a search of her mother’s belongings after the war, in Holland. However, when she saw it, the object evokes memories of her earlier life. Nevertheless, she decides to leave it all behind and to move on.
What this story teaches us, this story teaches us that it’s always better to selflessly giving something valuable – in comparing to earning for your own self.
Yes! You can inhabit a life like others. You can earn, you can feed your bank account with a large amount of money. You can buy a plasma TV. You can gift a diamond ring to your dear ones. But later on doing all of this just ask yourself one question, are you happy? Are you feeling relaxed or are you worried about your next future steps?
When you started feeling that way – just walk through the roads and, give a penny to a person who is in trouble. You will find that giving a penny is much worthwhile then above all those things you had done in your life.
I eat, I drink, I sleep, I work, I love, I hate, I sing, I dance, I cry, I laugh
See the problem is “I.”
