I have been in search of truth, since my college days; especially in search of peace. To demonstrate the fact in a nutshell about my learning would be this, “Your peace is yours no one else, beyond that everything is contrary, and religion is purely a part of it.”
As we all know religion has been observed as a matter of hullabaloo, consequently anyone who learned a fraction of philosophy or called himself as a knowledgeable person declined it wholeheartedly, perhaps they are right as we see the world around us and the atmosphere is also against it, but the truth is different.
Probably the reason always remains as religion’s purpose is not to increase chaos in the society; as it has been there for years to maintain peace, but it works oppositely, as in other words, I can say ‘we used it.’
To put it in another way, do you think Zoroaster, Confucius, Mozi, Jesus, Lord Krishna; furthermore Buddha, Laozi, Muhammad’s teachings will approach anyone to formulate chaos, while we know their education always remains as based on peace.
To rephrase it, I can undoubtedly share what they said…
- According to the Bhagavad-Gita (Chapter Way of Knowledge 13-16), Lord Krishna said, “That calm man who is the same in pain and pleasure, whom these cannot disturb, alone is able, O great amongst men, to attain to immortality.”
- Even more, according to the Bible Hebrews 12:14 “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness, no one will see the Lord.
- Also, according to the Islam, the Prophet Muhammad said, “Every religion has a distinctive virtue, and the distinctive virtue of Islam is modesty.”
- Furthermore, as Gautama Buddha said “sensual passions are your first enemy, Your second is called Discontent. Your third is Hunger & Thirst. Your fourth is called Craving. Fifth is Sloth & Drowsiness. Sixth is called Terror. Your seventh is Uncertainty. Hypocrisy & Stubbornness, your eighth.”
Therefore, this is a complete fact that religion never becomes a blockade to peace or happiness; nearly it is always about us.
As an example, you can compare religion with water, as without thrust water is worthless; in the same way without peace religion is worthless.
Although, I won’t say you must need to become a religious person to find your peacefulness, but in the same way you cannot throw it also.
Treat religion as a path to learning or exploring yourself, but don’t clinch yourself to its dogmas, since it is hard for a blind follower to learn anything new. An exploration of oneself is the only way to find your true path.
Whatever the path you follow disturbance will surely come, since you cannot expect that nearly everyone you will meet have been already reached their final spot or the desired destination.
For an example, in a class of 700 students only one boy or girl selected as first, but not all, is it means that everyone else is wrong, or the system is collapsing. Indeed! It is the result of their hard work and determination, the one that works hard for his/her achievement gets the result, and others may blame the system. Similarly, religion has its teachings, a proper student who is dedicated enough to learn, gets its results others simply blame the process.
Now the question is why people face problems when they follow a religion?
While you’re following a religion, does that mean you are above all? Or does it mean you will never face problems? Religion or what I say self-reliance is the process to make yourself dependable and peaceful simultaneously when you faced with adversities. Similarly, proper religion doesn’t work to make you a chaotic person. i
It works for your peace, and it doesn’t hide anything, for instance, if you think that something is fishy, or somehow you are frequently hidden from the fact, hence it is not a religion, it is a dogma without verity.
Now the question arises how to follow a proper religion?
According to the given fact above, I will be emphasis on the actual path rather than the superstitions. It is a matter of fact that every religion has its superstitions, even though it seems like a part of the society, but for a faithful follower, it is his or her duty to eliminate them, as a result of that you will come up a 24 carat gold.
In fact, whenever you claim that you don’t believe in religion, you don’t do it in the sack of uncertainty or doubts; you do it for the fear of acceptance and for the discipline which you will need to follow.
