Jon Kabat-Zinn, born on 1944, June 5 is an American born Professor of Medicine Emeritus and the creator of the Stress Reduction Clinic, Health Care and Center for Mindfulness in Medicine. He is a former disciple of Thich Nihat Hanh. Jon teaches mindfulness to deal with our life’s stress, anxiety, pain, and illness.

Most of us introduced to him by his book “Wherever you go, there you are”.  But do you know? Kabat-Zinn was first introduced to meditation in his college days by  Philip Kapleau a Zen missionary.
