Most likely the powerful tool of a happier life is our passion. If you have passion and have successfully able to achieve a spot where you make it possible to have lived with your passion would be an ideal and relax way to find happiness.
However, for most of us, it is a dream. We work in an environment and industries which we don’t love, later to simplify that we look for ways to find happiness.
It would sound impractical to you if I tell you to follow your passion for living happily.
In fact, it will turn into an incorrect article rather than a practical approach to solving your problem.
So what should we need to do?
We will definitely follow our passion, but how?
For most of us when we think about passion or a start-up journey we thought it would be a pleasant path.
Later that hurts us. Passion means the subject that you love to follow.
However, that doesn’t mean you are an expert on it. It’s a new way for yourself as well. You have to start your journey from the scratches.
You must have to go through the process of learning, but here the difference is you will love to do it. The time that will take on this journey will not bother you.
It’s a problem that most passion lover faces, the desire to get recognition.
I too believe that recognition is important to survive in this 21st century’s world and for an artist; it’s their fuel to work.
However, what if you don’t get what you want? Are you going to quit? Or will you follow your old path?
Greek’s history will give us that answer. In the classic era of Greek, there was a philosopher whose thoughts and believes revolutionaries the entire Greek. His thought challenges their rituals and systems.
However, they never recognized him; even in opposite to that, they sentenced him to death later; they forced him to poison himself.
Yes! You guessed it right; it was Socrates. Who was known as “an immoral corrupter of youth.”
How funny is that right? Now apply that to yourself. What if you have a new idea that most people don’t know; you must have to teach them, educate them but never quit from them.
Ways to Getting Start With Your Passion
A few months ago someone asked me this question “I have a passion, and I know I want to pursue it, but why every time I get rejected. Does that mean I am not good or less skillful at my work?”
Whoever experienced any start-up or followed a new journey had experienced this feeling.
The feeling of getting rejected and being less important or finding yourself less skillful.
For them remember even Michael Jordan had rejected from his high school basketball team. As Jordan said, “I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game-winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
Master Your Passion, Not Success: If you truly want to get started with your passion, then remember this line, never look for success instead master your craft, your subject. If your passion is singing master the art, if your passion is public speaking practice it but never look for the fame. Let it comes to you don’t seek by yourself.
Leave a Message with Your Work: Every time you are planning to do something new, make sure that it is unique and never copy someone else or produce a stereotype work. Carry a unique message with your concept. If anytime you feel disconnect with your work take a break, rejuvenate yourself and then bounce back to your work.
Consider Failure as Lessons For Success: If you read articles about improvements online most probably you may have read this line “Failure is a ladder to success.” However, this is not the complete truth. The truth is that failures are the lessons that you experience through your journey. Failures teach you what to do and what not to do.
Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb had failed over 1000 times before he reached his final design. Edison was known as the weak and less productive person. Now look what he did, he was the person who had lightened the dark world.
Rejection Means You’re on the Right Track: Do you believe in yourself? Do you believe in the work, then never got depressed by rejections instead look at it as an opportunity to better yourself. As of now, you are doing what you love, and you know you are just an inch behind, stick to it.
We now know Emily Dickinson as a famous American writer. However, in her lifetime, she was an ignored writer. In fact, even when she had written 1800 complete works she was able to publish only a dozen.
