Days will pass away even weeks; barely you will feel it, there will come a time when you will leave with regrets, you will face uncountable questions from your soul, especially issues akin to why have not I started it?
While we become busy in our life we forget to retrieve ourselves, we give time to our families, friends, even to our office colleagues but have we given time to ourselves?
In mindfulness meditation, you don’t need to spend too much time for yourself; for instance, 5 to 10 minutes a day is enough to retrieve yourself.
5 minutes of mindfulness meditation can do miracles, nevertheless, a big percentage of people already know that, but rarely, you will see they are practicing it.
One of the biggest barriers or factors in a good habit comes as a motivation, and the time length, in other words, you can say we lack motivation, and also the fear of successful attempts.
This time, I will give you a solution to it
Start Small: Whenever you think about a big picture. As a result end of the day, you fail to attempt it. Thinking about a larger than life goal makes it impossible for you; even it takes away your spiritual power, for an example, if you want to meditate, make the schedule as short as possible. Go for a week; plan to do 5 to 10 minutes of meditation a day. Small programs shall be achieved quickly Similarly, it will motivate you a lot for the next day.
Add Music: How many hours in a week we spend to listen to music, music always carry an immense power; music motivates us, it adds fun to our work., In the same way, use music in your meditation process. Nirvana song is one of my favorite; I regularly use it in my meditation process. Furthermore, you can use music as a timer also.
Change Schedule: The best time to practice meditation will always remain as the morning time, yet it would be tough for you to take that challenge in the very first week, but at least you can make it little closer. For instance, if your targeted time is 5 o’clock, try to wake up at 6 o’clock in the first week.
Add Words: You can quickly lose your enthusiasm if you don’t motivate yourself enough, however, motivation doesn’t come from a fixed source, it could be anything, but as per as meditation concern I find it useful to read quotes. We are blessed that we have some excellent spiritual personalities around us; their words have incredible power, know about them, what they say about meditation, and add those words where you can see them all the day.
Read Books: While you will be in the process of meditation, add a book to your daily to-do list. Make sure the subject of the book is around meditation, there are some inspiring books available on the market choose anyone one of it, read them. It will motivate you to keep the process going, even more, you will explore a new window of knowledge too.
Healthy Foods: As I said above, your first challenge would be to a week, so you can quickly take some changes to it, add fruits, and skip unhealthy diet. It is widely known as, what you eat what you become; unhealthy foods will increase your anxiety and stress level. Fruits will help you to maintain your coolness, you will feel more energetic also, it will increase your tolerance level as well.
Become a Member: Be a part of a meditation group, where you can contact with others, who are doing it for a long time. As per as my experience, becoming a part of a team is way better than doing it alone, although, you can skip it if you’re running through a hectic schedule.
Resources: Use meditation resources, guidelines, seek help when it is necessary. Besides, I am adding a routine for you; it will be a one-week mindfulness meditation challenge. Remember, when it comes to a good habit hardly you will be able to find someone who will become a part of it, in the same way, it will be a hard-hitting task for you too, but with a healthy mind and dedication, you can almost achieve anything.
